General rules

Cancellations & delays by local ferry, taxi and minivan companies

Local ferry, taxi and minivan companies reserve the right to vary the service in any way whatsoever without any liability to the passenger. They also reserve the right to cancel a booking or change the schedule at anytime prior to poor weather conditions or any circumstances beyond the reasonable for any safety reason. Cancellations are done for the safety and comfort of traveling passengers. Koh Lipe Travelers shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury which may arise in the event of cancellation or delay of the service. The company shall not be liable in any way for the cost of any accommodation or for any alternative means of travel which may arise through cancellations or delays. Additional expense so arising shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the passenger.

Cancellations & refunds by customer

No refunds will be given once a booking has been made.
Save in exceptional circumstances, refunds will only be issued at our discretion.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling is based on seat availability, especially in high season periods. In the event of a trip cancellation from the company, the company shall refund any funds paid by the passenger direct to the company. We will be able to charge a small fee. If, for some reason you have to purchase a new ticket because the one you had wasn't accepted by the ferry staff, refunds will be issued only when a scanned image of your second purchase has been sent to us as evidence of your purchase.

Specific cases

In the case of flight delayed or cancelled

Please inform us as soon as you know that your flight is delayed or cancelled by phone International: +66 (0)81 766 3390, +66 (0)81 136 8883 (Thai) or email us at the following contact@kohlipetravelers.com and advise us new details of your arrival so that we can amend your new transfer pick-up time accordingly.
Please note extra costs may apply if you fail to inform us in advance.

In the case of holiday details changed

If your details change prior to departure, please simply contact us by sending an email to the following contact@kohlipetravelers.com and we will amend the details accordingly. You will be responsible for any increase in the transfer price if the new resort/hotel is further away from the airport. Please note extra costs may apply if you fail to inform us in advance.

In the case of wrong date/time entered

Change of date

Yes, you can change the date as long as it is not inside the 48-hour notice period (before departure time). We will be able to charge a small fee. Please send us an email to speak with one of our customer service agents who will take you through the simple booking change process: contact@kohlipetravelers.com.

In the case of ferry missed

If you miss your ferry, you will embark in the next departing ferry (depending on the availability of seats). We will advise you of your next best option. In other words, don't panic, there's always a solution !
